Each year the TALK Walk helps to focus attention on the important issues of health and safety, while also raising funds to provide educational, leadership and social opportunities for neighborhood youth. Residents and friends of the Hillside and Townhomes at Carver Park community join together for a stroll through the neighborhood, and they ask their friends, family and co-workers to sponsor them with a donation. All funds raised will support Summer on the Hill activities, including the National Night Out Against Crime celebration, a series of work and education workshops for teens, an intergenerational event, the Hillside Community Jam Music Showcase, and more. The best way to keep our youth moving forward towards productive, self-sufficient lives is to provide them with opportunities to build their skills, confidence and dreams. Your support of the TALK Walk will help the TALK Campaign support this work.
