| The Hillside Terrace Management Office provides safe, decent and sanitary affordable housing to moderate and low-income households. Apartments consist of 1 to 5 bedroom units. To be eligible you must be on the Housing Authority's waiting list, which is currently closed to new applicants. Applicants are welcome to call the Hillside Management office if they have any questions. Hillside residents are encouraged to contact the office with questions or concerns regarding their lease or maintenance issues. Our doors are always open. | ||||||||||||
Hillside Family Organization The Hillside Family Organization is led by community-elected representatives who provide Hillside residents with a voice in housing and other neighborhood matters. Throughout the year, the Family Organization helps strenghthen the community through many activities, including hosting monthly resident meetings, producing and sponsoring neighborhood events, facilitating food distributions, and operating the local candy shop. Resident meetings are held monthly. Please call or stop by to meet your neighbors and learn how the Family Organizations can help you. |

Milwaukee Area Technical College Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Pre-College Education Division conducts classes at the Hillside Family Resource Center. Students can work toward improving their reading, math and writing skills or can complete their GED, computer skills and career exploration. The goal of these classes is to prepare students to complete their secondary education degree and to transition into postsecondary programs. Classes are smaller than those at the campuses, and students are given individualized attention. Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club offers a variety of activities and programs for youth ages 5 – 18 within its community. These activities include educational and tutorial services, sports & recreation, and arts, leadership and health programs. The Club also has certified child care for youth ages 5 – 12 and provides a fun and safe place for youth to go after school or during weekdays when schools are closed. In addition to regular programming, the Club hosts several events throughout the year for the community and club members, including back-to-school drives and Christmas gifts for the members. Each event and program is specifically designed to foster educational and principal development skills for our youth, which will encourage and provide them with the tools necessary to achieve and be successful. Annual fee for each child is only $5! |

Tomorrow's Future Early Childhood Center Tomorrow’s Future Early Childhood Center provides state-licensed comprehensive child care services for children ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age. Our qualified, experienced teachers provide age-appropriate activities and curriculums that focus on the whole child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Located in a clean, safe, state-of-the art building, Tomorrow’s Future is the next best thing to home. We offer free transportation, nutritious home-cooked USDA-approved meals and snacks, and no required co-payment. W– 2 pay accepted. Open 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. |
