HellermanTyton's Latest Milwaukee Expansion Takes Another Step Ahead
March 22, 2016
By Sean Ryan
Recently-sold manufacturer HellermannTyton is planning another Milwaukee expansion and could add more than 100 jobs to its local workforce.
HellermannTyton is continuing its growth plans in Milwaukee after being acquired by Delphi Automotive in December. The manufacturer is laying plans for its second major expansion of a Good Hope Road building it bought in 2012. Milwaukee’s Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee endorsed that project on Tuesday, setting up a possible final city approval by the Common Council on March 29.
Rick Rice, HellermannTyton director of North American manufacturing operations, said the Delphi acquisition “creates a lot of opportunities for us to advance our plans and bring more employment to the city of Milwaukee.”
