Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer. HACM utilizes Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 to ensure the provision of employment, training, contracting, and other economic opportunities to its residents and other low-income persons.
HACM Section 3 Resident Registry
HACM has established an online Section 3 Resident Registry to help identify individuals who qualify as Section 3 residents and to connect them to employment opportunities for which they have a preference. The Registry allows any public housing resident, rent assistance participant, or other low-income individual in the metro-Milwaukee area to self-certify as Section 3 and provide information about their qualifications and skills. Registered residents will be contacted when there are new work positions available.
