Computer Centers

The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) has five Neighborhood Network Computer Centers located in various developments that offer residents and surrounding neighborhood residents the opportunity to access the internet and computer resources. The Neighborhood Network centers provide a convenient place for “Digital Natives” (those who have grown up around and are comfortable using technology) as well as “Digital Immigrants” (those who are novices about computers and software) to access needed tools to connect to the internet, write e-mails, do homework, develop a resume, engage in job searches, and to use social media sites to stay in touch with family and friends.

Introductory computer classes are offered at some Neighborhood Network computer centers. Additional availability may be arranged by residents through their manager's office.
