SENIOR AND ADULT DISABLED PUBLIC HOUSING
We are currently accepting applications for Senior and Adult Disabled Public Housing.
Two ways to apply for Senior (50+) or Adult Disabled Housing:
- Call 414-286-5678 or 414-286-3504 (TDD) and request that an application be mailed to you.
- Download and print the Pre-Application for Seniors and Disabled Adults, complete it and mail it to us. PLEASE NOTE: A single application is required to apply for all senior and adult disabled buildings. You do not need to submit an application for each building you may be interested in.
Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8 Assistance) Program
- Tenant-Based Rent Assistance
We are not accepting new applications for Tenant-Based Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8 Rent Assistance) due to the number of households already on the waiting lists for those programs.
- Project-Based Rent Assistance
When there is availability, we accept online registrations on the first working day of the month for Project-Based Housing Choice Vouchers. This type of housing assistance applies to specific buildings.
Affordable Market-Rate Housing
We are continually accepting new applications for our Affordable Market-Rate Housing apartments at Berryland, Northlawn and Southlawn. Visit the Affordable Market-Rate Housing page to learn more about applying for these properties.
Reasonable AccommodationsUpon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals through sign language interpreters or other auxiliary aids.
